for everyone

When I was cooking noodles tonight, a crazy thought crossed my mind. How would be very happy I was if I was able to do my regular job peacefully, hang out with my friends in mal and buy the things that I want. I want to do all of them without remembering how hard the responsibilities that I have due to the new position I have now, the position that forces me not to align with every body, the position in which many people count on but at the same time make people slam the door at me, yell at me and hate me. Phew…What a tough life.

However, quitting job is not an answer either because we still have bills to pay, food to eat and people close to us that we want to cheer them up. In addition, quitting job is just like running away from problem. Once we run away from a problem, we will keep running for the rest of our life.

It is quite often that the repeating voice in our mind says “I would be happy if I were….. “ It is some kind of voice we should definitely ignore. Such thought requires some conditions for us to be happy. In fact, being happy should require no condition. If being happy needs conditions then we will never be happy in our life. So the point of it is try to enjoy everything that we do or what we have to do. It is a matter of how good we are in finding the good thing among the bad things, finding blessing in disguise.

Sometimes, we are not happy because of certain things, but at the same time we have to admit that we definitely have good things that can make our day, the thing that we know we should be grateful for. Happiness and sadness are things that always stand side by side. People are never surrounded with sadness all the time or never ending happiness for the rest of their life. There is rain, then also there is summer. There is flood and there is draught. They come one after another just like the life we have.

As a matter of fact, we are lucky people. There are many people who can’t enjoy the life that we have right now. We just need to count the blessings we have and they are countless. When we are down, we feel everybody is against us, or when the boss gives us hard time or people look us down, patronize us or when we feel that we are the most unfortunate person on earth, just see the people who are less fortunate than we are. There are many people out there who paid less and at the same time they got a lot of dependants to afford, or there many people somewhere who are poor and abused, there are also many people who are unjustly treated concerning their rights, etc. Just read the newspaper and we can find all the sorrow there, or we just watch TV news and a talk show discussing poverty, disaster, war, etc. When we watch Oprah show on TV, for instance, we can see that there are many people suffered out there. The show and other similar talk show help us open our eyes that we are somehow lucky people, especially because we have time to sit back and browse the net

Wise words thanks for sharing, one thing I would like to add to the above being happy is not in our hands it is in the hands of Allah as the Quran says ALLAH is the one who makes us weep and makes us laugh, life is not that simple and we cannot make ourselves happy or sad it is not in our hands because it is not our life it is somebody's else who has given it to us and He has already decided how much sorrow or how much happiness we will experience in our lives .

Yes... That's true... I really agree with you. In this article I just want to ask everybody to be more grateful to the God. Therefore, no matter how worst the situation is, they are still able to see the bright side of it and not to get frustrated by getting drunk, using drugs or harming self or others.
